It is the ideal base to visit the spectacular tahune forest airwalk, ida bay railway to name a few, hastings caves & thermal pool, south west wilderness, hartz mountain national park, of the many attractions this region offers. One hours drive south of hobart (80 km) along the scenic esperance coast road. It is equipped for self-catering with light kitchen facilities including fridge, etc. Conveniently located halfway between geeveston and dover, hair dryer, clock-radio, dvd, colour tv, electric blankets, reverse-cycle air conditioner, electric heating, bbq, toaster, kettle, electric frypan, microwave, just before police point. The boathouse accommodates two persons in a double bed plus a double futon. There is a wilderness walk, rock formations, unique grotto, private rainforest with tall manferns and a babbling brook to explore.
